This is a level inspired by one of our favourite GD artists ExtraCrispyCroc, who was renowned for pumping out very unique levels in an incredibly short amount of time. She received tons of undeserved backlash and hatred from the community for making levels so quickly, and she recently left the game, so I’d consider this a tribute of sorts, representing what we loved most about her work from a personal creating perspective: Short and sweet, a little all over the place but genuine, and so, so much fun to create.
We also took inspiration from the Scary Jokes song “Icicles”, which perfectly describes the experience of being a misunderstood artist. We highly recommend a listen (the lyrics are STELLAR and are a fantastic metaphor for the GD creating community).
