It's not often that I feel inspired to paint environments, but a couple of weeks ago I had an idea for an icescape--a totally barren wasteland covered in ice and snow that melts at night and refreezes during morning storms (backwards, I know XD, seeing as it's generally warmer in the daytime). I decided to draw the early morning aftermath, and thought that Celldweller's Snowcore music would fit the setting really well :), so that's what I went with.
I explained in the video why I didn't start the time lapse from the very beginning, but I'll say it here briefly as well. The image started out as a traditional (color pencil) drawing that I took a picture of with my phone, and began painting over it in Photoshop. I recorded this with a different software that failed and ended up using a different software for the rest of the time lapse and it turned out splendidly!
