ICELAND | An Offroad Expedition Through Ice and Fire with the Sunlight IBEX 4x4 Van | Commercial Spec Video
This summer I ventured into what turned out to be one of the craziest adventures of my life.
I've been to Iceland many times, it's one of my favourite places in the world and I know these places so well. But this time it was all different. It felt like discovering everything for the first time and remembering why I fell in love with it in the first place. That feeling of adventure, of remote and harsh environments that I'm always chasing.
This time, instead of flying, we drove all the way from Italy to Iceland in a van. And not just any van, but a new 4x4 concept car by Sunlight, the IBEX. It was not only our vehicle, it was our home away from home. A van designed for extreme off-road. Built for the unknown. We drove it to some of the most remote and harsh environments. We lived in it and slept in it for more than a month. Going to sleep right in front of an active volcano, waking up to the sounds of a roaring waterfall, driving it on a glacier, surviving extreme Icelandic storms, crossing rivers and waterfalls. We’ve literally been with it through Fire and Ice.
An adventure of a lifetime. This one was for the books. And I couldn't wish for a greater companion by my side on this journey.
I honestly can't wait to get back on the roads with the IBEX again and explore the unknown.
