Ice Age (81 min)
Synopsis: It is twenty-thousand years ago. The Earth is a wondrous, prehistoric world filled with danger, not the least of which is the beginning of the Ice Age. To avoid a really bad frostbite, the planet's majestic creatures - and a few small, slothful ones - begin migrating south. The exceptions are a woolly mammoth named Manfred, and a terminally lazy sloth named Sid. When Sid "adopts" Manfred as his protector, the mammoth tries everything he can to unload his newfound baggage. But that's only the beginning of his frustrations: Manny has been roped by Sid into helping reunite an abandoned human baby with his family. They are joined by Diego, a sinister saber-toothed tiger who befriends Sid and Manny, all the while seeing the infant as a tasty treat. As Sid, Manny and Diego make their way across the vast, ice-covered landscape, another creature, a prehistoric squirrel/rat known as Scrat, tries desperately to carry out his mission in life - to bury an acorn - which, alas, triggers calamitous events.

• The film, originally envisioned as a traditionally animated movie with an action-oriented comedy-drama tone, was intended to be developed by Don Bluth and Gary Goldman's Fox Animation Studios. It eventually became the first full-length animated film for the newly reformed Blue Sky Studios, which had been reshaped from a VFX house to a computer animation studio.
• The film started a franchise which includes four sequels and multiple holiday specials and short films.

Charlotte’s Web (94 min)
Synopsis: Early one morning, Fern Arable prevents her father John from slaughtering a piglet as the runt of the litter. John allows Fern to raise it as a pet, which Fern lovingly names Wilbur. Six weeks later, Wilbur is sold down the street to her uncle, Homer Zuckerman. At Homers farm, Wilbur yearns for companionship. Horrified at the discovery that he will be slaughtered, Wilbur reduces himself to tears until a mysterious voice tells him to chin up and waits until morning to reveal herself to him. The following morning, she reveals herself to be a spider named Charlotte A. Cavatica, living on a web on a corner of Homers barn overlooking Wilburs pig pen. She tells him that she will come up with a plan guaranteed to spare his life. A few days later, Homers farmhand, Lurvy, sees the words “SOME PIG” spun within Charlottes web. The incident attracts publicity among Homers neighbors who deem the praise to be a miracle. Following a series of messages spun in Charlotte’s web, Homer decides to enter Wilbur in the county fair for the summer. Wilbur is accompanied by Charlotte and a hungry rat named Templeton. Although Wilbur does not win first place, the reception Wilbur receives at the fair convinces Zuckerman to let live Wilbur live to a ripe old age. Exhausted from writing words and spinning an egg sac containing her unborn offspring, Charlotte tells Wilbur she will remain at the fair to die. Not willing to let her children be abandoned, Wilbur has Templeton retrieve her egg sac to take back to the farm, just before she dies. Once he returns to Homers farm, he guards the egg sac through the winter. The next spring, Charlottes 514 children are hatched, but leave the farm, causing Wilbur to become saddened to the point of wanting to run away. Just as he is about to do so, the ram points out that three of them did not fly away. Pleased at finding new friends, he names them Joy, Nellie, and Aranea, but as much as he loves them, they will never replace the memory of Charlotte.
