Iberostar Waves Paraíso Beach is a 4 to 4.5 star, all-inclusive family-friendly resort styled like a traditional colonial Mexican hacienda, located directly in Playa Paraíso in the Riviera Maya, Mexico.
This lobby is surrounded by 40 acres of lush, well-maintained tropical gardens, natural cenotes, and mangrove pathways.
You will love seeing the peacocks, flamingos, coatis, and yes, iguanas.
There are 424 rooms and suites with private balconies or terraces, daily restocked minibars, and eco-friendly amenities.
I feel there is a good mix of energetic vibes, and areas for pure relaxation.
This lobby shares facilities with the lobby next door, Del Mar.
There is a shared shopping center in this entire complex with shopping, dining options, ice cream shop, a spa, well equipped fitness center, and a nightclub.
This resort is easy to walk, but there are golf carts driven by staff.

Why do I say its 4 to 4.5 stars? There is no high end alcohol, many dining restaurants are open air, so not air conditioned. This resort does not offer access to the massive water park at the
Iberostar Selection Paraiso Maya Suites, located within the complex.
