The Iberostar Paraíso Complex in Riviera Maya is a massive, five-hotel interconnected resort located on Playa Paraíso, about 30 minutes south of Cancún Airport. It is designed as a self-contained "vacation city" where your choice of hotel determines your level of luxury and which other parts of the complex you can access.
Which One Should You Choose?
For ultimate luxury: JOIA Paraíso is the only adults-only option and offers butler service and the most exclusive beach areas.
For the best family experience: Selection Paraíso Maya Suites is the top-tier family choice. Its lobby is a spectacular reproduction of a Mayan pyramid, and its rooms are the largest in the complex.
For value vs. amenities: Selection Paraíso Lindo is often considered the "sweet spot," offering full access to the water park and wave pool at a lower price than Maya.
For a lower budget: Waves Beach or Del Mar are the most affordable. You still get the same beach and main pools, but you typically have to pay extra to use the water park.

For families, the Selection Paraíso Maya and Selection Paraíso Lindo are the best bets, specifically because they are located closest to the water park, wave pool, and lazy river.
