Maryam is an IB alumna from Ibn Khuldoon National School (Bahrain). By the time she graduated in 2015, she had already set up the Maharat Sewing Centre in Dhlail, Jordan. The sewing centre runs sewing classes for women in the community, which includes Syrian refugees. Aside from teaching practical skills, it also serves as a social refuge within the local community. Maryam is currently pursuing a BA Honors in International Relations at St. Andrews University, Scotland.
The music for this film was composed by Jedaia Tanthai Samart, an IB student from KIS International School in Bangkok, Thailand.
