Using the top end cheap world band SW set to listen to I98 from Wollongong NSW in Mascot NSW, transmission distance of 80Km.
I98 is 40Kw and the 30cm antenna is t"he shorter model *rated 60Km at 40Kw",

Look at the signal reception level strength meter bars to see why, it will only quite hold without fade in good weather but could happen for a moment from time to time.
Only least two signal bars and sometimes a flash from a third.

It was not actually the wind being the problem. I later found its brake function was in operation, HOWEVER, that does not matter, this video may as well be read interpreted and watched as what is being said in the sound track because it is exactly the same with wind and the turbine set at that height and no brake on!
Wind moves not only in layers but also veins/pockets and affected by turbukence of objects down low below 12 meters altittude.")
