Interstate 80 in Placer County is shut down Wednesday morning after a reported crash. California Highway Patrol traffic logs indicate a crash was reported shortly before 7:30 a.m. at westbound I-80 in the Loomis area. All westbound lanes are shut down, while eastbound traffic is reduced to one lane, Caltrans cameras show. Traffic logs state that both vehicles are in the center divide and that one of the vehicles went through the center divide. One of the vehicles also caught fire.
