I wrote a book!
About a year ago I came up with a story and I decided to go through with it and actually write it!
It's called Sorry About Me and it releases on August 4!
I'm super excited to finally be able to share this with you all and I look forward to hearing your thoughts!
The e-book is already available for preorder on Amazon! The paperback version will be available to buy when it releases, on the 4th of August!

It's a story about 2 brothers reconnecting, when they don't necessarily want to.
Synopsis:
After two years of actively avoiding his autistic and intellectually disabled brother Alex, Miles is forced to see him again to tell him about their mother's passing.
Due to a strong feeling of guilt, Miles attempts to fix their relationship by spending a weekend at the farm they grew up on.
But then they see something they probably shouldn't have.

My story was very much inspired by my relationship with my brother, who (just like the character Alex) has autism and is intellectually disabled. Hence why this story is so important to me.
I learned a lot about the writing process from John and Hank Green through their YouTube channel and through their books. I recently finished reading An Absolutely Remarkable Thing and I'm currently reading both The Anthropocene Reviewed and A Beautifully Foolish Endeavour.
