I’m back! Sorry it took so long to get a cover out this month! I was on vacation for my cousin’s wedding from the 5th to the 10th and then I wanted to enjoy the last of the nice weather for the year. Gomenne. But to make up for the lack of covers the rest of the month, we have 5 for you for the last five days of the month. This is the first. “I Wonder What Love Is”. I, the great and loveable Peridot, am back! I’m sorry I’ve been absent for so long, I just needed some time to find myself and what I want to convey with my singing. Of course, I’ll still do some songs just for fun, but I want to start also singing more songs that I feel with my heart and not just hear with my ears. I’ve only done a few songs like that in the past and I want to relate to my covers more.
Today’s song is an English cover of Vocaloid producer Tiara’s “Sayonara,” originally sung by Hatsune Miku. It represents a couple of things for me. On one side of the coin, it represents me moving on from Lapis after she hurt me while still cherishing the good memories I have with her. On the other side of the coin, it also represents saying goodbye, saying “sayonara” to my old self and to the past while still being thankful for my experiences and how they’ve shaped me.

We’re back with the 9th song in Sakura and Peridot’s 25 Days of Christmas Covers! This time we sang an English cover of Printemps’ “Sweet & Sweet Holiday”. Does this one count as a Christmas song? I think it does. Even though it was released in May.
