Project Zomboid Build 42 is finally stable, so I am starting fresh on day one in the new apocalypse, and the game looks incredible.

The whole world feels different now. New buildings, updated towns, better graphics, more atmosphere, more zombies, and some massive changes to classic locations like the beloved fire station base.

I wake up above a gun store, get locked out of the actual guns, set off alarms, run from zombies with a plunger as my only weapon, find a working car, explore new locations, and eventually discover one of the best Build 42 upgrades so far.

This is day one in Project Zomboid Build 42 Stable.
