This beautiful song was written and recorded by Dolly Parton originally, and then recorded later by Whitney Houston. To say this song is a challenge, is an understatement. I hesitated covering this song because of that, but also because anytime someone sings a well-known song such as this, I feel that people tend to compare it to the original. Nothing...and I mean NOTHING compares to the immeasurable talent that Whitney had. She was a vocal powerhouse, and one I admire greatly. My version is not perfect, but to sing this song is truly an honour. I sing this in honour of her talent, and for the musical legacy she left behind.
