I went to a toy show on the hunt for the last TMNT figures I need to complete my 1988 Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles collection… and I walked out completely empty-handed.
No deals.
No luck.
None of the turtles I needed.
But the day wasn’t over yet.
After the toy show let me down, I made one last stop at Dallas Vintage Toys — and that’s where everything changed. What started as a frustrating hunt turned into one of the most satisfying collecting moments I’ve had in a long time.
