Today is the three year anniversary of Barbenheimer, the simultaneous theatrical release of Greta Gerwig's Barbie and Christopher Nolan's Oppenheimer on July 21st, 2023. I haven't made it a secret that I don't look back very fondly on this period of time in my life, and after my mental health further declined in 2025, I began to look at these two movies in a more unhealthily negative light.
Recent events have happened that made me realize I no longer feel as strongly about these two movies as I used to, without even noticing it. Because of the three year anniversary of Barbenheimer, and the recent release of Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey, I've decided it's finally time to do what's right.
