The 25th anniversary of the Juno Awards—live on national TV, a packed arena, and I almost missed it! I scrambled in just as the lights dimmed and snagged a VIP seat. Problem is, the whole row had to stand up for me. Picture Shania Twain, k.d. lang, and Randy Bachman shooting you that “really, dude?” look. A legendary entrance... just not in the way I imagined!
