Back in 1997, I wrote that Jewish organizations were overlooking the growing threat posed by Islamist extremism in parts of Europe. My warning was rejected, but the debate it raised has only become more relevant as antisemitism and security concerns have grown across the West.
In this video, I reflect on why uncomfortable warnings are often dismissed, what history can teach us, and why Jewish leadership must confront difficult realities instead of avoiding them.
