Happy Pride month! Got this done in under a month for you guys.
STORY:
Iclynn and Selene are in their 20s, and are hanging at the beach one evening. Iclynn is haunted by her past, and cracks under the pressure she put on herself to not show it. But Selene assures her they will get through it together.
When Iclynn was a kid, her father left the family, causing mother to become addicted to alcohol and to show more care for her accessories. Father had most of the wealth, so Jewel struggled financially. She didnt want to appear poor when going outside. Her insecurity fell over her two kids, but mostly the youngest, Iclynn. Especially when Iclynn was the reason her husband left.
On Jewels side of the family, they had whats called ferals or feralborn - individuals who can shapeshift into feral cats - their ancestors form before they evolved. Damiens family had long been kept pure of this, believing ferals will devolve their civilization, breaking down laws and morals. Iclynn inherited the feral gene from Jewel, and revealed her ability to her father once. Damien was furious that Jewel had kept it hidden, and divorced her.
But it didnt end there. Damien was behind a life-changing event for Iclynn in her early teens - leaving her both mentally and physically scarred, at the hands of an acquaintance of her father. He apparently had an entire gang backing him up, trying to kill off the feral population in Jamacity. Iclynn finds out eventually and feels even more betrayed. But she, Selene, and their friends will fight back for as long as they have to.

Whew! This took me a while. But I finished it, and now you get to see more of Iclynns story! She has a tragic past, unfortunately. She was abused by her alcoholic mother, who blamed Iclynn after the father abandoned them. As an adult, Iclynns still bitter, and loses her temper.
