In this video, I'm finally tearing out this silly wall in the middle of our living room!

Tearing out this little wall and this weird L shaped column has been on my to do list since the day we moved in, but I had other priorities to tackle first.
So I did try to make this more bearable with some faux brick paneling: youtu.be/2m7mS6SvhBw?si=tbec7rVWmVNtdpGo
But ultimately, the goal was always to remove it, so finally, after 4 years, it was time. The only problem is now that it's gone, I'm not sure how to utilize this space. So let me know what you think in the comments below!
I know someone will ask...no this was not a load bearing wall. It housed a couple of light switches (that we moved) and divided the dining room at the corner.
