Underneath the crooked streets of Union Square lie the equally crooked platforms of 14 St - Union Square station on the IRT Lexington Avenue line (4,5,6 trains). Because of the curve in the tracks, there are serious gaps in between the train and the platform. So for the past 110 years, hydraulic gap fillers slam onto the train when the doors open. Sounds like a cool thing to see for ourselves!
