I went all the way to Japan to experience what a collab cafe is like in real life! Well, okay, maybe I had other reasons for going to Japan - but this was certainly a fun thing to try either way.

During a trip to Japan I managed to book a few different collab cafes - some anime, some games, and one that I didn't really expect to find.
The ones I visited were:
- DanDaDan Collab Cafe in Ikebukuro, Tokyo
- Zootopia Collab Cafe in Shinjuku, Tokyo
- Eorzea Final Fantasy XIV Cafe in Osaka
- A brief stop at the Monster Hunter Cafe and the Dragon Quest Cafe in Akihabara, Tokyo
- Monster Hunter Wilds at Capcom Cafe in Ikebukuro, Tokyo
Did I enjoy it? Was the food any good? Did they have any good drinks or desserts? I guess you'll simply have to see the video to get my full reviews of the experience!
I can also mention that it was a bit of a hassle to get the bookings done on Japanese websites, and it wasn't all that easy to read the Japanese menus. But it's not really all that complicated to book - so go for it if you're curious!
