Final Fantasy VII Rebirth harkens back to the glory days of the Final Fantasy franchise, when releases like VII, VIII, IX and X were at the forefront s of story-telling, game design and presentation. The money, time, energy and creativity necessesary to have produced this would have been staggering, but everything that was invested has paid off, making Rebirth a watershed moment for both Square Enix and the Final Fantasy franchise.
