Building Tall has become a bit of a trend in CK3 recently - everyone and their Social Streamer is doing it. But frankly - they’ve been playing in EASY mode. Sardinia is an obvious pick, Iceland is so easy to defend. But what if I told you that there was a better island to build up… one that can become OP as a Single province - THATS RIGHT GOTLAND. Yes, Gotland is a hidden gem when it comes to development. There are two locations with special building that provide 0.5 development, and thats meca and venice - which are out but GOTLANDS special building that provides the next joint highest at point 3. Which means if you survive, and use every little development trick in the book… this Backwater full of Goats can become a medieval New York City!
