The Sword Casting Guy, Greg Wenderski, happened to be teaching a class in my area. I took the opportunity to do something I've been wanting to do for a while, and cast a replica of an Arslantepe sword. This video documents the process we went through to cast and finish the sword.

You can find Greg, and his upcoming classes, on his website: swordcastingguy.com
Greg was also on the channel How To Make Everything: youtube.com/watch?v=CutjZmHoJ3I

This is the 3D model I used as a starting point: app.sketchup.com/app?3dwid=b579cb650be5cab1eab2bd7322386ffd
