Willy D has one week to do something he’s never done before: make three original songs before performing them live in Nashville.
With Mountain Dew along for the ride, Willy teams up with Rusty Featherstone and producer Luke Wild to hit the studio and figure out what it actually takes to make a hit.
Looking for some professional advice, Willy calls up Gary LeVox from Rascal Flatts, who tells him the key is finding his “happy place.” Naturally, Rusty takes that advice very seriously…. putting Willy through friendship bracelet making, yoga, and anything else that might unlock his musical potential.
Once the songs are finished, there’s only one way to find out if they’re actually any good: go undercover and play them for unsuspecting strangers.
