I went on a Michelin star food roadtrip across the UK, flying to Edinburgh and driving through the Lake District, the Midlands and Berkshire to see how the country’s best fine dining restaurants compare.
First, I had lunch at The Kitchin in Edinburgh, one of Scotland’s most famous Michelin-star restaurants. Then I drove to the Lake District for a fine dining dinner at The Samling Hotel overlooking Lake Windermere. After spending the night in Kendal, I visited The Cross in Kenilworth for lunch, before finishing the trip at The Hinds Head in Bray, a Michelin-starred pub known for classic British dishes.
