Hello dear friends, today’s video is part 1 of a 2 part series detailing my most recent oil painting. This one focuses on the beginning stages from concept sketch to trace over to a wipe out! I know I normally don't do trace overs or wipeouts (and instead go for sketching the blockin with paint followed by a monochromatic grisaille), but I thought I'd try a new technique for a change just to challenge myself and boy did I run into a few hurdles along the way 😅 But that's the point of learning a new technique I guess!
