At some point during his lifetime, J.R.R. Tolkien wrote a short poem and narrative titled: 'The Complaint of Mîm the Dwarf' in which the petty-dwarf looks back on the hardships and wrongdoings he suffered. This work is yet unpublished, only finding its way to us readers through a German publication.

The published poem and narrative are only known to exist in German. So I decided to work on a fun little project and create my own translation in English. This is what happened ...
