Welcome to Vlog 6 of my Japan adventure! We start the day incredibly early as I wake up at 5 AM to capture the beautiful streets of Ninenzaka before walking to Kiyomizu-dera Temple. I also get to make something incredibly special for my girlfriend at Ringram Kyoto, where I create a handmade ring from scratch. From there, we visit Japanime Art Gallery and see original hand-drawn anime frames and animation cels from some of Japan's most iconic productions.
But things get even crazier when I head to the Kyoto Samurai Ninja Museum and actually become a ninja for the day. I take part in a sword training class and learn some of the techniques behind the legendary warriors of Japan. We also visit the viral Mochi Mochi store, where the mochi is made right in front of us, before heading to Nintendo Kyoto and doing some serious shopping. The day continues with manga and figure hunting at Animate.
To finish one of the busiest days of the entire trip, we have dinner at Haffu, one of Kyoto's most prestigious local gems for Wagyu beef. From waking up before sunrise and exploring ancient Kyoto to making a handmade ring, seeing original anime artwork, becoming a ninja, shopping at Nintendo Kyoto, hunting for manga and figures, and eating incredible Wagyu, this day had a little bit of everything.
