Magic Monk | I traded 52,350 Qantas Frequent Flyer Points for $300 worth of Woolworths eGift cards @magicmonk | Uploaded December 2022 | Updated October 2024, 6 hours ago.
Hi everyone. I was going to make a video about this a while ago but I kind of forgot. I got one of these Citi Premier Qantas credit cards (https://www1.citibank.com.au/credit-cards/citi-premier-qantas) which gave me 100,000 bonus Qantas Points (conditions applied, check the webpage). However, I haven't been travelling much at all - partly due to covid but now that covid is kind of finished, I am still reluctant to go due to some left over restrictions.
Recently I saw there is a 20% off all digital gift cards at the Qantas frequent flyer rewards store. So yes, even if I don't fly, there are ways to spend these points. As you can see in the video, you can trade approximately 175 points for a dollar. Therefore, my 100,000 points is about the same as $571 dollars, which is quite a bit! I got 3 eGift cards in this video for Woolworths, which is Australia's most common grocery store. So even if I never fly with Qantas again, I still have ways to spend the frequent flyer points.
What are you getting your friends for Christmas? Comment below :)
