After living in the Netherlands for 5 years, I’ve learned one thing: nothing prepares you for Dutch Carnaval. My boy has been here for 2 years and somehow managed to avoid the madness... until now.

I took him deep into the heart of the festivities to experience the costumes, the music, and the legendary gezelligheid that takes over the streets. We started in Breda then hit Den Bosch! From the moment we stepped off the train, his face said it all.
