Hi all, today were diving deep into the fourth book in the Harrow Faire series by Kathryn Ann Kingsley, Ringmaster, in which Kathryn Ann Kingsley nearly shows a little self-awareness by calling out another male character for being abusive... even though he displays ALL the same behaviour as Simon. I thoroughly believe these books portray and glamourize unhealthy and dangerous relationships and perpetuate domestic violence against women and so today, we need to talk about it and educate people a little more about consent, about abusive relationships and about why none of this is ok.

Today were reading another blog post from the infamous Biblical Gender Roles and his relationship blog, this time titled 10 Rules of Sex For Wives. Theres been a fair amount of discussion over the years about whether this guy is a troll or not and, while we can hope he is, hes been at this for so long that its feeling unlikely at this point. Plus, even if he is attempting poor humour, the fact remains that there are plenty of readers out there who listen to him and take him seriously and his advice here mimics the advice given by the likes of The Transformed Wife, Paul & Morgan, etc. which makes it all worth discussing in my opinion.
