Part 2 of my Germany Historical playthrough in Hearts of Iron 4. We last left off going through the final years of peace as we built up our strength, repeatedly broke post-war treaties, and began to eat our neighbors. Nom nom. With the invasion of Poland however, the outbreak of war has begun, and so now things have "gotten real" so to speak. After a few months of inactivity, or the "Sitzkrieg", April 1940 saw things renewed with the invasion of Denmark and Norway. Now, at the start of May 1940, we are preparing to head west... to invade France.
