Everyone shows the beautiful side of Japan, but nobody talks about what happens when you decide to climb Mount Inari. What started as a simple visit to Fushimi Inari quickly turned into me covered in sweat, gasping for air, and questioning every life decision that led me up those stairs.

This is just one of the many ridiculous, unexpected, and unforgettable moments from my trip to Japan. From Nintendo and Super Nintendo World to the Nintendo Museum, Pokémon, Kirby, Tokyo, Kyoto, and everything in between, this trip had way more surprises than I expected.
