Toyota's 1JZGTE is known for making impressive power figures in a pretty well standard layout but throw on a Haltech ECU and feed it with some boost and you'll start to find the weak points!
In Brad's case this VVT-I from his 2004 JZS171W Toyota Crown has seen some pretty high cylinder pressures causing all the rods to bend and #5 cylinder was the unlucky one to let go!
It caused all sorts of carnage in the bottom end and even managed to catch on fire!
