On my last trip to St. Petersburg I had finally the chance to try out the Voigtländer 35mm f/1.4. I borrowed the lens from a friend and it's the lastest version that they put out in the last two years. On my Leica M6 the handling is really nice and it doesn't really block the viewfinder. I think if you enjoy the focal length you should look into this tiny lens. It is fairly affordable and it renders images really nicely.
On the other hand the Santa 1000 film is a mixed bag. It can look good but it also can easily look too contrasty. It might be a good film to shoot on overcast days though. It got developed by Carmencita and scanned by myself.
