I picked up an MVS to AES converter from AliExpress based on Furrtek's Fusion design and put it through a real test with five different MVS cartridges. Speaking of Furrtek, he has stated that his converter will work on the AES+. I'll put it to the test as soon as I have my hands on the new system!

- 161-in-1 multicart
- NeoSD Pro
- Samurai Shodown V Special (bootleg)
- King of Gladiator (bootleg)
- Neo DriftOut

Only Neo DriftOut, a legitimate original cartridge, ran correctly. In this video I break down why that matters, why buying original MVS carts is still often cheaper than AES carts while getting you legitimate cartridges, and how well this converter performs once you're running the real thing.

I also talk about Furrtek, the designer behind the Fusion converter, and why buying directly from him gets you a better price while supporting the person who actually engineered this hardware.
