The Segway Navimow i2 AWD combines wire-free lawn mapping, Network RTK positioning, VisionFence AI obstacle avoidance, zero-turn steering and all-wheel drive.
I tested it on slopes, tree roots, uneven ground, tight spaces and everyday garden obstacles. I also attempted to control it remotely from China before the British heatwave turned my lawn into something resembling the surface of Mercury.

• Wire-free virtual boundaries
• AI-powered VisionFence
• Multi-zone lawn management
• Automatic scheduling and charging
• Approximately 59 dB operating noise
The Navimow i208 AWD won’t eliminate occasional edge trimming, and its obstacle avoidance can’t identify every dog-related landmine. However, it successfully takes care of around 97% of the normal lawn-mowing process.
