* For first-time Tsuklio users. Valid until 15th Sept 2026.
What I genuinely appreciated about Tsuklio is that the meals feel much closer to an ordinary Japanese dinner at home. You get several different home-style dishes instead of one large restaurant-style main course. On a busy day, being able to heat everything and put dinner on the table in around five minutes is genuinely useful.
Tsuklio delivers three freshly prepared dinners together once a week, with menus rotating from a selection of more than 100 recipes. Super delicious, authentic and healthy - definitely recommended.
Today, I visited Ten Ten Otoko, a Japanese hawker stall in Singapore that has been gaining attention for serving proper sashimi bowls at coffeeshop prices.
As a Japanese person, I love kaisen-don, but good sashimi in Singapore is usually not cheap. So I wanted to find out whether affordable raw fish from a coffeeshop could actually be fresh and delicious - and whether it would satisfy a Japanese person. I try several dishes, including the Bara Chirashi, Deluxe Donburi, hotate salmon, chirashi soba and katsu curry rice with omelette.
