LDO may not be the first name people think of when it comes to filament, but they are already well known in the 3D printing hardware space. So I wanted to find out how their materials actually perform when put through real testing.
In this video, I test LDO ASA, LDO ASA-CF, and LDO ABS using my standard EDGE OF 3D materials testing process. That means no marketing fluff, no “it feels strong,” and no pretending a spec sheet tells the whole story.
We’re looking at real-world performance, heat resistance, strength, layer behavior, and how these materials compare against each other in the EO3D materials testing database.
Is ASA-CF actually the obvious winner?
Does plain ASA hold its own?
And where does ABS land against both?
