In this hands on test I take a real world look at the Setpower DT45 dual zone 12 volt refrigerator freezer to see if it actually holds up outside a spec sheet. This portable fridge freezer is built around two separate bins that can each independently run as a fridge or a freezer, so you can keep drinks cold on one side and ice cream frozen solid on the other at the same time.
I walk through the physical controls on the front of the unit and show that you never need to open the Setpower app to change temperatures, switch modes, or check on either compartment. Everything you need for daily use is right there on the display and button panel, which matters a lot if you are running this off grid, in a vehicle, or anywhere reliable Bluetooth is not guaranteed.
