I've tested 8 of the newest all-terrain tires back to back: snow and ice in the Arctic Circle, wet and dry handling in central Europe, and off-road here in Utah. It's taken nearly a year. Instead of running fresh sets for each test, I ran one set of every tire through the whole thing, starting on snow and finishing in the dirt, so you can also see how they wore.
Six aggressive all-terrains, one milder budget all-terrain, and an all-season as a reference.
Tested in dirt handling, wet braking, wet handling, aquaplaning, dry braking, snow traction, snow handling and braking, plus on-road noise and comfort over a full day on the road.
