I was lucky enough to be invited by Deviate cycles out to the Alps for 10 days, but what I didn't know, was that I was entered into a three day enduro!

This enduro format is very different though, with a strong emphasis on having a good time riding with one of your buddies.

Matthew is competing in the junior category of the EDR for the second year, as well as cycling between most of the rounds! Needless to say, he is significantly faster and fitter than me.

This is bad news for him, but great news for me, as I got to learn so much by following him and his lines on each stage.
