Open Gate is the feature everyone talks about Sony A7V not having comapred to Lumix S1II but even if Open Gate wasn't a feature, the Lumix S1II still offers so much more such as 6K 60FPS, Arri Log C, 60 FPS blackout free 14bit burst photography, cinema camera monitoring features, shutter angle, best in class IBIS, and the lists goes on and on. I switched to Lumix S1II after a decade shooting on Sony with the FX-3, a7SIII, ZV-E1 etc. Should you switch? Open Gate may not be enough of a reason to switch, but what about all of the other features that the Lumix system offers?
