I switched back to Obsidian — not because Notion is bad, but because my workflow changed. Once I started using terminal-based AI agents, local tools, Markdown files, and my own automation workflows, I wanted my notes and project management system to be something I fully control.
In this video, I walk through my current Obsidian setup, how I organize my vault, how I use Markdown as the foundation for technical notes and projects, and how the Pi Agent Obsidian plugin connects my vault with local AI-agent workflows. I also show how skills, prompts, backlinks, frontmatter, and simple files make Obsidian useful again for homelab documentation, YouTube planning, and AI-assisted work.
