I took my mum on holiday to Tenerife ☀️🌋 This trip was part of my ambassador work with TUI, but it also turned into something I really needed. A few days of sunshine, black sand beaches, volcano views, long walks, ice cream stops, and just slowing down for a minute.
We climbed up Mount Teide, watched the sunset over La Palma, went stargazing, walked nearly 7 miles on day one (classic us), and tried not to freeze on a mountain because we forgot enough layers.
It wasn’t a big dramatic “filmed for YouTube” trip. I was mainly creating content for Instagram, but I grabbed little moments along the way. And honestly, I’m really glad I did.
Coming back to rainy England after two very full, very emotional weeks felt… grounding. I’m slowly rebuilding routines, training for my 10K, house hunting, and figuring out what this next chapter looks like.
