^This is my company - it's an absolutely kick-ass business with an amazing team. We have talented local recruitment teams in both Indonesia and Argentina and the results we have gotten for business owners has been incredible. We have people who end up using our service 4-5 times with great testimonials so I'm super stoked about it.
In this video, I'll go share my honest journey of starting a B2B company without taking any pay for over 14 months, and our strategy to reach $30 million in 3 years through building a strong team and diverse marketing. You'll also learn valuable lessons like employee appreciation and innovative hiring strategies, such as exploring overseas talent pools.
Seriously though, boot strapping a business with no outsider funding is fun and do-able. It's very nostalgic thinking about the first half year of business, as Jeff (my co-founder) and I were working nights and doing everything ourselves until we made our first hire.
If I were to add up the hours I spent working on this business and multiplied it by how much my time is supposedly worth, it means I technically "lost" over $1,000,000 by working on this business with zero pay. But we'll just call it $170k for the sake of the thumbnail :)
