man those be some spooky plants
The pandemic™ destroyed my motivation to finish this series, and this was the best way I could think about telling the rest of the story haha
(okay, maybe not the best but definitely the most fun)
Fun fact this series was based off of a song album, Strange Trails by Lord Huron. I *really* recommend it, it's very very good haha.
In the original script for this I spoil I went super in depth about the lore so here's what I wrote in case you're interested :D
Once apon a time, there was a magical forest. The magic was deeply embedded in every part of that forest. People would come to the forest, subconsciously drawn to the magic. When they interacted with the magic, the forest thrived. But overtime, they lost their connection to the magic, and less and less people would come to the forest.
Desperate for them to return, the magic created a path that would draw them back. The path would move throughout the forest, so they would stay longer and have a chance to reconnect to the magic like the good old days. But it backfired, and soon the people began to fear the forest.
