I'd never actually listened to Kenshi Yonezu's Iris Out. Not properly. Not once.

So I gave it a full day. First listen. Living with it. The lyrics. The history. All of it.

This video is me trying to find my own answer to one question:
Why does overwhelm feel like losing control?

And here's where I landed:
It's not your world getting smaller. It's the cut. You focus on one thing so hard everything else disappears and then the next scene starts, and somehow you understand the whole story a little better.

This video is about the days that feel like too much. The moments when one feeling becomes so big that everything else gets pulled into its orbit. And what I think that actually means.
