Meet my newest—and one of the most expensive dolls in my collection! I purchased this incredible artist-made Ball Jointed Doll (BJD) from Bonelace at NYC Doll Con, and after what felt like FOREVER, he has finally arrived!
At around $700, this is definitely not your average doll. He is an artist-sculpted and designed Ball Jointed Doll, cast in resin and made with an absolutely INSANE amount of detail. From his incredibly realistic sculpting to his gorgeous face, detailed hands, and unbelievable range of motion, this doll is basically a tiny articulated work of art.
And now I have to figure out what the heck to do with him. 😂
In this video, we're taking a close look at the Bonelace BJD, checking out the beautiful sculpting and realistic details, testing out his INSANE posability, and trying to figure out what clothes from my existing doll collection will actually fit him. Spoiler: I do NOT have a lot of options for this extremely realistic man doll. LOL.
I also had no idea what character he was going to become in my doll universe… until I realized he was absolutely destined to be a VAMPIRE. 🧛♂️ He has officially joined my doll story as a mysterious vampire character who is married to one of my witch dolls—and honestly, I am obsessed with this pairing.
